FEDERICO GOBBO (1974) is full professor by special appointment (in Dutch: bijzonder Hoogleraar) at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) with a course in Interlinguistics and Esperanto and teaching fellow at the University of Turin (Italy) with a course in Language Planning and Planned Languages. He participates in the EU-7FP funded project MIME (Mobility and Inclusion in a Multilingual Europe) at the University of Milano-Bicocca.

He has a PhD in Computer Science, defended in 2009 at the University of Insubria (Varese-Como, Italy), with a dissertation on constructive adpositional grammars (CxAdGrams). He did research and gave lectures in many Universities, and he is member of research projects and networks of excellence.

Apart from academic stuff, he invented the Art of Giving Yourself Pause for Thought (ArtP4T). Finally, he is a self-published SF and fantasy writer, and an amateur photographer.
